KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s economy expanded 5.8% in the fourth quarter of 2014 and for the year, the country’s GDP grew 6% and it is expected to remain on a steady growth path.
Bank Negara Malaysia said on Thursday, the GDP growth in Q4, 2014 was higher at 5.8% from 5.1% a year ago.
Underpinning the growth was services, which expanded 6.4%, construction 8.7% while manufacturing expanded 5.2%. Mining jumped 9.6% but agriculture declined 2.8%.
For 2014, services expanded 6.3%, construction 11.6%, manufacturing 6.2% and mining 3.1% while agriculture increased 2.6% from 2013.
The 2014 GDP growth exceeded estimates when compared with 4.7% in 2013.
“The Malaysian economy is expected to remain on a steady growth path. The gradual recovery in global growth will lend support to manufactured export performance, although overall export growth would likely remain modest amid lower commodity prices,” the central bank said.
BNM said domestic demand is expected to remain favourable amidst the lower oil prices. Investment activity is projected to remain resilient, with broad-based capital spending by both the private and public sectors cushioning the lower oil and gas-related investment activity.
“While private consumption is expected to moderate, the steady rise in income and employment, and the additional disposable income from the lower oil prices would support household spending,” it said.
Elaborating on the GDP growth, BNM said the Malaysian economy registered a higher growth of 5.8% in the fourth quarter of 2014 (3Q 2014: 5.6%), driven mainly by stronger private sector spending.
On the supply side, growth was sustained by the major economic sectors, supported by trade and domestic activities.
On a quarter-on-quarter seasonally-adjusted basis, growth momentum increased to 2.0% (3Q 2014: 0.9%). For the year 2014, the Malaysian economy grew by 6.0%.
Domestic demand remained the anchor of growth in the fourth quarter, mainly on account of the improvement in private sector activity.
Private investment expanded at a faster pace of 11.2% (3Q 2014: 6.8%), driven by capital spending in the manufacturing and services sectors.
Private consumption registered a stronger growth of 7.8% (3Q 2014: 6.7%), supported by stable labour market conditions and continued wage growth. Public consumption expanded at a more moderate pace of 2.7% in the fourth quarter (3Q 2014: 5.3%), due to slower growth in both emoluments and supplies and services.
Public investment, however, continued to decline, albeit at a slower pace of 2.1% (3Q 2014: -8.9%), following a smaller contraction in spending on fixed assets by the Federal Government.
On the supply side, growth in the fourth quarter was supported by major economic sectors.
Growth in the services sector was underpinned by expansion across all sub-sectors.
The construction sector remained strong, driven mainly by non-residential and residental sub-sectors, while the mining sector registered a stronger growth due to higher crude oil production.
The manufacturing sector continued to expand, supported mainly by the export-oriented industries. However, the agriculture sector recorded a contraction due to lower palm oil production caused by the floods in the eastern states of Peninsular Malaysia.

Cinta
Cinta itu ibarat debaran hati
Tatkala diri ketemu hati selainnya
Memikirkan cinta itu gembira
Kadangkala sedih
Namun,
Cinta tidak berhenti
Seperti objek yang bergerak
Ia terus menerus datang
Dan menusuk kalbu
Memang pelik dan aneh
Sungguh bertuah mereka pernah merasakannya
Andai ia satu keistimewann
Biarlah ia kekal selamanya
Tatkala diri ketemu hati selainnya
Memikirkan cinta itu gembira
Kadangkala sedih

Cinta tidak berhenti

Tahun baru ! New year, New Missions, New Goals.
It's take a long time for the new post to be published again. I'm trying to be as consistent as possible to become istiqamah to write something which i thinkimportant in my opinion to point out. I have failed to write any for the last 5 months. 7th semester was very busiest with additional classes, assignments, fyp proposal and other NGO's activities. I shall not make them the concrete reasons to abandon my writing. Its just take min 10 minutes to just share something. Ok ! I hope I will produce more my 'part of my heart' to people out there this year. A lot of things need to be voiced out. I should not just keep inside, while reading in many things in the websites without sharing with the people. Its up to you whether to read or not. But as long it is beneficial to me, I think it is also beneficial to others also.
Some said, we should enjoy what we are suppose to do before, now and in the future. As an accounting students in the public university, still I dont think its perfectly correct. We are bounded from what we are suppose to do. Life is a choice, we have the power to choose after taking into several considerations and assumptions BUT how that criteria fulfill 100% of enjoying the results from our planning. Each of us agree, we could not be able to achieve that 100% but as long as it make us satisfied after looking at others achievement which we regard parallel to us,it is enough. That is how a life looks like. In order to remind our heart from sadness and not satisfaction, we tend to lower our expectation when the results has come out, if not 100% as planned. We know, as a human, we are not perfect and thus to feel defeated by the expected plans are not the end of our life. We should keep struggling although we might not obtain the expected results, we shall consider other options as long as it gives us reasonable satisfaction.
Hence, no matter how the painful is, we should never give up and keep hustling because there shall be the light at the end of the tunnel. Remember, we should not be bounded by others perceptions but independent in making any decision although deviated from normal way.

Back to Almameter
I am likely to take express bus at night and arrive at dawn if I going back to KL.My parents always disagree and question me why i am more prefer to travel during midnight. For me, the reason is very simple,I dont like to waste my time ! Taking 5 to 6 hours or even more during the journey really bored. After midnight, I can sleep on the bus like 'heaven',haha because i am a type of person whom hardly to fell sleepy if not in the right time and suitable places. Not choosy but that is my lifestyle i think.
Ok, back to the main topic, this is my final year after finishing practical training and 1 month holiday. I seem dont care much the Final Year Student 'title',as long i am able to live happily in the world. The practical training period had taught me a lot on how to manage my life. I have a serious problem in handling emotions, sometimes really motivated, and some demotivated. The stressful and hectic life when undergo practical training plus with my private life (LOVE??)during the 6 months period had me think there would be no turning back.
I must focus with what I am doing right now, do not forget the past but take them as precious moments which must not be repeated again after this. In life, we should have the objectives (dreams) to ensure that our path would not deviate from that at all costs. The problem may be we might loss, but believe me, we must keep on track no matter how painful it is. The painful actually is the biggest lesson in life to correct ourselves in the future.

Practical Training as Internal Auditor
Almost 5 months I have been doing internship at one of the audit firm in Kuala Lumpur. A lot of things happened along my practical training. I don't know where to start. Life begins when there is a start and end when it supposes to be. Thinking about life really miserable and frightening. The competition very tense in order to be placed at the right position. We have to mix with different people and try to adapt with the current work place environment. For me, this is the biggest obstacle I have to face. I don't really care much about the burden of the job assigned to me because I know that is the purpose of working / practical training but to deal with different people with different way of thinking really affected me. I know some people can easily can adopt with the environment . I'm too ! For me, I like to work on my own without being directed by anyone. This doesn't mean I don't like other people to ask me to do here and there but I think if that person is able and that task is within his/her scope job, he/her should do on their own. Sometimes, I feel my determination of fulfilling my task doesn't mean anything ! I know, I'm just a trainee which they think I cant do much .
I know I can blame them but at certain circumstances, I think I have the right to pursue with my point. In this life, we cannot tend to think we know all the things. Some people may good at certain thing and not other thing. We should learn to understand others rather than wanting others to understand us..may be continued !

UiTM graduate is ACCA Malaysia's best graduand, seventh in the world
The daughter of a night market trader, Siti Aisah Kamarulzaman, emerged as the best graduand of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Malaysia and seventh best ACCA graduand in the world, for the June 2013 examination.
Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) vice-chancellor Tan Sri Prof Dr Sahol Hamid Abu Bakar said UiTM student Siti Aisah was the seventh best in the world out of 6,000 candidates who sat for the examination.
"The UiTM is very proud of the success achieved by Siti Aisah which proves that if we want something, nothing is impossible and anyone can do it," he said at a media conference, here Friday.
He said that Siti Aisah also inherited the success of her elder brother, Khalid who emerged as the best graduand in Malaysia in the same examination last year.
Siti Aisah, 21, a student from the Department of Professional Accounting Study, UiTM's Faculty of Accounting, emerged as the best out of 724 ACCA graduands in the country.
"I'm thankful for this achievement and I thank my parents and lecturers who had given me much support and inspiration throughout my studies. They are my strength and inspiration for this most meaningful success," said the fourth child out of nine siblings.
She said the experience of her father, Kamarulzaman Udin, 51, as a night market trader, and the advice from her mother, Saadah Rahmat, 52, a teacher, had inspired her a lot in working hard to achieve the best success in life.
In another development, Sahol Hamid said that effective next year, all UiTM professional courses would be offered at the Medan Mara, Kuala Lumpur to facilitate the students in attending classes without going through the traffic jams.

To Karpal Singh from Muslim Laywers
PRESS RELEASE
MUSLIM LAWYERS ASSOCIATION
DATE: NOV 9TH 2013
This press release is issued pursuant to comments made by few parties in particular that of the Malaysian Bar and YB Karpal Singh in relation to our earlier press release dated Nov 2nd 2013.
With due respect to Mr Christopher Leong the President of the Malaysian Bar, in relation to his press release on Nov 4th 2013, it is with regret I find that he got completely wrong as the the caution which was given by the Muslim Lawyers Association in our earlier press release.
There is nothing for anyone to fear for any party rendering their legal arguments in court. That is not the issue. The issue is on what legal basis can the Malaysian Bar declare partisan stand on an issue relating to the religious word 'Allah' without taking heed at the majority members of the Malaysian Bar.
If indeed the Malaysian Bar feels that the body is a secular body, then a secular body should not interfere in any religious matters.
On the same premise, I also find that YB Karpal Singh has also digress from the point raised in the Muslim Lawyers Association statement. Further, there is no need for a person of YB Karpal Singh standing to make such unwarranted remarks as quoted in the media.

Experience with AirAsia
Now, Everyone can fly...Airasia Tagline..yeah for me its partly correct. Before, Malaysians who would like to travel inside the country by using flight do not have many choices. We have only Malaysian Airlines (MAS) for domestic sector instead of Airasia, Firefly and Malindo (latest).
As a solely player in Malaysia aviation industry, MAS has its advantage to charge consumers at a premium price. There is no competition at all. Most of the people regard (especially policy makers) thought using a flight were likely using limosine instead of taxi or bus. Hence, the fares were very high and not affordable to lower or middle income group. Only 'selected ' people were able to fly with aircraft!
When Tony Fernandes takes over Airasia, then the flight industry in the country change dramatically. More people are able to fly due to the competitive prices offered by the airline company. Although the fares do not consistently cheap but still the proportion still lower than premium flights services. No free drinks or foods given when travelling by using low cost airlines. Luggage need to be calculated based on the weight as well as other services which the flight think it might reduce the operational cost. The concept 'pay only what you want'.
Since then, I am able to use flight frequently when going home. Sometimes, the fares are much lower that bus or train. Increasing number of low airline carriers to the market brings many options to consumers to choose. Thanks !

Turning Point
Turning point?

Kejarlah Akhirat, Terkerjarlah Dunia
* Dont be independent, you need Allah
* Be friend with good people
* Jaga pandangan
* Alaways motivate yourself
* Jaga hubungan dengan Allah, terjagalah hubungan dengan manusia
* Jangan bergantung pada pada manusia, bergantunglah pada Allah
* Setelah melampui batas, mohon ampun pada Allah, insyallah Allah ampun
* Tekadkan hati, bulatkan azam, teruskan perjuangan
* Hidup hanyalah sementara
Hidup hanyalah ilusi dan khayalan,...akhirat kekal abada
* Berubahlah kerana Allah bukan kerana manusia
Perubahan hanya Allah yang tahu bukan manusia
* Jangan berpuas hati dengan perubahan yang berlaku, iman up and down,
* Rendah hati semasa perubahan berlaku
With You Lyrics:
Allah,
I need Allah,
And the hearts all over the world tonight.
I said there's hearts all over the world tonight
What can I do?
I need Allah,
And the hearts all over the world tonight.
I said there's hearts all over the world tonight
Wish I was smarter, when I was younger.
Found something better - made me a winner and,
I'm so glad to be Yours!
It's my life that you own.
I start my journey when You forgive me
I swear my whole world stops.
You are in my heart and, I'm so glad that its fine
You are One truly kind...
You lighten me!
(I) Feel it, through and through, and
For sure ya Rabbee, there ain't nothing You can't do!
Because if I got You,
I don't need money!
I don't need cars!
Lord, you're my all!
And...Oh!
I'm into You my Lord,
No one else would do!
With every test you put me through,
the miracles, you help me do..
And now I know I can't be the only one,
I bet there's hearts all over the world tonight,
with the Love of their life who feel...what I feel when I'm
With You, with You, with You, with You, ya Rahman!
With You, with You, with You, ya Raheem!
I don't want nobody else
Without You there's no one left and,
the Master of judgment day,
I got to have Your love and I cannot do without,
If I got You,
I don't need money!
I don't need cars!
Lord, you're my all!
Oh!
I'm into You my Lord,
No one else would do!
With every test you put me through,
the miracles, you help me do..
With You, with You, with You, with You, ya Rahman!
With You, with You, with You, ya Raheem!
And I will never try to deny,
That You are my life,
Because if You ever let me go I would die!
So, I won't front!
I don't need another mission,
I just need you as my vision!
If I got You, I'll be straight,
Rabbee I need you every day!
I need Allah...
And the hearts all over the world tonight,
I said there's hearts all over the world tonight
What can I do?
I need Allah...
And the hearts all over the world tonight,
I said there's hearts all over the world tonight
Rab ighfirly
Fantal kareemuu!
Wa3fu ya rabbee
Fantar raheemuu!
With You, with You, with You, with You, ya Rahman!
With You, with You, with You, ya Raheem!

The Way of Living
Life begins when human starts to realize the reason for living. I'm trying to discover the purpose of life whether I should act in the framework created by other group of people or just be on my own. Sometimes, I realise their way are correct but not so perfect. It always bother me to rethink if I they are happy with their choices made.
I am happy with my choices that I have taken through but to be on the track at all time are not as easy as looking them doing 'work' consistently.
~Stop making others question what are there in your mind but please them with dignity and politely~
All of us want to be a perfect person but they realise it wont happen as planned. So, dont judge others by using your own principles without referring to others judgement.
We live by our own and let others live by their own. Look at the mirror to reflect yourself and look at their mirrors if you plan to judge them.
Life will not be as smooth as when pouring water into mug.

Making Group and Team Decisions More Effective
* Being aware of the pros and cons of having a group or team make a decision
* Setting deadlines for when decisions must be made
* Avoiding dominance problems by managing group memberships
* Having each group member individually critically evaluate all alternatives
* Not making your position known to too early
* Appointing a group member to be a "devil's advocate."
* Holding a follow-up meeting to recheck the decision.

Kesibukan berderet2

Btw, next week minggu exam untuk test 2(mid term).Dah lama tak post baru. Kadang2 terpikir perluka nak share hal tentang diri sndiri.Sangat 'weird' ,ada orang suka sangat share smua bnda, ada pulak share sebahagian n ada yang x langsung. Kehidupan ini mmg aneh, tp itulah hakikat kehidupan.Setiap manusia tu mmg berlainan, kalo sama mestilah jadi robot kan?? Ikut aja smua org suruh buat. Lagi satu, manusia sng sagt terpengaruh dgn kehidupan sekeliling. Mmmg x dinafikan kehidupan sekitr yang menjadikan kita manusia tp smua perbuatan tu baik utk kit.Untuk mudahkan , untuk siapakah hidup ini ? Untk manusia atau sang pencipta? Huuhu, selalunya, kita terperangkp dgn kehidupan dunia, mengejar kesibukan, kesngan, keseronokan n etc.Dunia ibarat "syurga in the making" padahal dunia lah yg bakal memberikan 1001 akibat di kdpan abadi. Jadi, cmna nak in the right path? jd la diri sendiri kerana itu mmg fitrh kita diciptakan.Bkn bermaksud penting kan diri sendiri, cuma amik yg elok buang yg buruk.
